Alappuzha> Man Assaulted by In-Laws Collapses and Dies. Vishnu (34), son of Natarajan from Perumpally Puthenparambil, Arattupuzha, passed away after allegedly being assaulted by his in-laws. The incident occurred last night around 10 PM. Four individuals have been taken into custody by the Thrikkunnapuzha police in connection with the case.
Vishnu and wife, Athira Raj had been living separately for the past one and a half years. They have a four-year-old child. The incident happened when Vishnu went to his wife’s house to drop off the child, who had accompanied him during the holidays. A dispute arose, leading to an alleged assault by his wife’s relatives. During the altercation, Vishnu collapsed.
He was immediately rushed to Kayamkulam Taluk Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
